Customize your portrait

  • Define the technique: oil painting or acrylic paint.
  • Choose the painting style you prefer - classic , black and white, and spontaneous realism - customize every detail to your taste.

Draft Approval

  • I prepare a sketch (a preview) of the composition of your portrait.
  • I am sending you this sketch so you can review and approve it before I start painting.

Painting Execution

  • With your approval of the sketch, I begin painting!
  • I dedicate myself to creating your work with passion and attention to detail, following the delivery priority you chose.

Final Work Review

  • Once I'm done, I'll send you a photo or video of the finished portrait.
  • You can calmly review, approve and, if necessary, request small final adjustments.
  • At this stage, you can also choose to add a frame (optional service)

Payment and Delivery

  • After your final approval of the work, we will settle the remaining payment.
  • I pack your portrait with the utmost care and security.
  • Free express delivery to your address or, if agreed, hand delivery in the Lisbon-Leiria area.

How the Ordering Process Works

Quality Materials

  • I work mainly with acrylic or oil paints on high quality cotton canvas .
  • The screens have a robust wooden structure, available in:
    • Standard Profile (1.5cm thick)
    • Gallery Profile (4cm thick - ideal for hanging without a frame)
  • Upon request, I can also work with other supports (wood, paper, fabric) and materials (textile paints, pastel, graphite, charcoal).

Prices and Payment

  • The value of the portrait is calculated based on the size of the canvas and the number of figures (people/animals) represented.

  • Payment terms (e.g. deposit, final payment) will be agreed with you when confirming your order.
  • Additional charges apply to: Rush priority orders, framing service and special condition shipping (if applicable).

Customization to Your Taste

  • This is a collaborative effort! When requesting a quote or during our conversation, please indicate your specific preferences :
    • Desired materials or supports.
    • Color tones to highlight or avoid.
    • Specific backgrounds (e.g. landscapes, abstract backgrounds).
    • Any other details that are important to you.

Framing Service (Optional)

  • Do you want to receive your painting ready to hang on the wall?
  • Thanks to a partnership, I offer a framing service with special prices for my customers.
  • I provide a catalogue of frames for you to choose from during the final review phase of the work. Ask to see it!

Careful and Convenient Delivery

  • Hand Delivery: For your convenience, we can arrange hand delivery (at no additional cost) in the area between Greater Lisbon and Leiria , subject to availability and location/time agreement.
  • Express Shipping (Free): For the remaining areas of the country, the painting will be carefully packaged and sent free of charge by express mail marked "Fragile". Delivery is usually made on the next business day after the date of dispatch.

Fully Customized to Your Taste:

Each painting is a collaboration, tailored to your preferences. Use the options below to configure your unique piece:

  • Canvas Dimensions (cm): Indicate the desired Width and Height for your painting (e.g. 80x60). Size is a key factor in calculating the price.
  • Painting Technique: Choose your preference:
    • Acrylic: Vibrant colors and faster drying, ideal for more expressive or modern styles.
    • Oil: Rich texture, deep colors and a longer working time, perfect for classic realism or impasto effects.
  • Number of Figures: Select how many main figures (people, detailed pets, etc.) should appear in the painting.
  • Landscape Background: Do you want a specific landscape or more elaborate background behind the main figures? Check this box. Creating a detailed figurative background adds complexity and will be counted as an additional figure in the base price calculation. (If unchecked, the background will be simpler/abstract, focusing on the figures.)
  • Execution Priority: Select the urgency with which you need your work. This choice affects the additional cost and the estimated delivery date:
    • Normal 20 dias úteis - Grátis
    • Expresso 10 dias úteis +10%
    • Prioritário 5 dias úteis +20%
    • Urgente 3 dias úteis +40% (The date is calculated automatically, excluding weekends and local holidays).
  • Other Options: Don't forget to select your Canvas Thickness , indicate your Style preference (or leave it to me for inspiration!) and how you plan to upload your Reference Photo(s) .

Dynamic Pricing and Deadlines:

As you select your options, the Total Price and Estimated Delivery Date will automatically update on this page to reflect your choices. The system automatically validates that the number of pictures is appropriate for the selected canvas size.

The Process:

  1. Configure and add your custom frame to cart.
  2. Complete your order.
  3. If you chose "Send photo later", I will contact you via email to request the images and discuss any additional details.
  4. Start painting, respecting the selected priority. I will keep you informed of the progress.
  5. After completion and final approval (I can send a photo), the painting will be carefully packaged and shipped to your address.
